Ours is a big family with a big circle of relatives, and also with high society of friends from all over India and abroad who would be keen on attending my daughter’s wedding. I had a big dream of conducting my daughter’s wedding the way that I dreamt of. Some of our relatives who do catering from their ancestral time (Mayavaram, Tanjore areas) and now in Chennai, were mounting pressure on us to give them the wedding catering. Pressure from our own family members and friends were recommending a big list of caterers. I called a few of them but somehow, I was not convinced. A year back one of my friends who told something special about a catering person, who is R.K. Raghavendran (well educated), from Triplicane , running a catering business by name brand name Vivahaa Catering Services for the past 15 years. Remembering, I checked the google reviews of Vivahaa and was inspired to call him. He is such a person whose IQ is so high, explains even small issues, nuances of Brahmin wedding catering, where things might go wrong, how to cope up with guests landing extra, over and above the counts indicated before. Moreover, he is very transparent and honest , his rates are not high (as he says it is a win-win, it is true too), does charge only overheads (he says incidental expenses) if the counts exceed, that is too nominal and not on a leaf-by-leaf basis as other catering services do. He never commits to mention the package cost over the phone. He would like to visit the customer, spend his valuable time, explains nitty-gritty. Overall, he is absolutely honest and not many minded. He is honest to the core really. The wedding contract was finally handed over to Vivahaa who are simply outstanding in all areas, so be it, food, ritual related arrangements, peripheral arrangements, polite serving staff, managing staff, reception staff. Food on all occasions was especially top notch, particularly Kattu sadha saappadu on the third day was an ' out of the world experience' for every one of us. Milagu kuzhambu, paruppu Thogayal, and Sembu Roast were heights Vivahaa’s brand logo says “Marriages are remembered for the food …! So, why compromise? “ Yes, they have kept their words true to their logo. With my Heart filled satisfaction, we with entire family and freinds applaud Vivahaa and Mr. Raghavendran a grand success and long years blemishless service.
